Its with a tummy full of butterflies, that I’m able to finally share with you one of my most exciting projects to date, a dream project that I’ve been wanting to do for years! I first started working on this at the start of last year, and I had always imagined Chloe Morello to be the makeup host. I’ve been a huge fan of hers forever and I love that she’s passionate about educating women to feel their best too. We met, by chance, at Australian Fashion Week, and I knew it was meant to be. A few things that you may not know about Chloe is that she is hilariously funny, loves the beach and is also a Sagittarius…so we instantly hit it off!
I started production on the project then, and was so excited about I even started posting about here. Little did I know that it would be the biggest project I’d ever accomplish and take almost 9 months of my year to complete. I wanted to make sure everything was perfect, from the crew selection, the location even getting the two-way mirror took a good month to organise! The legend Steve from Sydney Tint Solutions ended up coming to the rescue and brought a piece of glass round to my house and tinted it on my kitchen table!
And don’t even get me started about Tegan, simply beautiful inside and out! I was so thrilled when she wanted to be a part of this and what made it even more special was that she was a fan of Chloe’s already! What was really cute….was at the start of the day, she told us she’s not a crier. And Chloe and I said, we would definitely cry….I can cry at anything, but I knew this would really make me tear up. Just between you and me, I spent half the day sniffling. And well, you can see in the reveal how moved Tegan is!
Chloe pulls out some epic tips in the clip….hello, orange creme blush to cover eye circles?! And I give Tegan some body shape and skin tone ideas.
Here is the long version that includes more of our tips as well as a really beautiful interview with one of the founders of StyleRunner.com, if you haven’t already, please take a look at this makeover and it would really mean a lot to me if you can share it with someone you love:
