What a whirlwind, the final weeks of last year were!! I put a hold on all new blog posts, so that I could focus on the re-building of the platform.  As a result, this post has been on the back burner for a couple of weeks, but still catching you just in time for a quiet Cointreau Fizz on a balmy Summers arvo.

This year, Birthday Month (or November as you like to call it), will have to go down as one of the most memorable of all time!  After returning from a dream trip to New Caledonia, the fabulous crew at Cointreau thought it might be fun to have a Sunset Harbour cruise! And well, I had to agree!

Living in Sydney, few things excite me more than the chance to spend some time on our fabulous Harbour! I had spent the week checking the weather report hourly and doing mad Sun Salutations…but, it didn’t end up helping.  The day started off bright and clear but by the time we were snugly under the bridge the clouds rolled in and provided a pretty ominous looking backdrop for the festivities.Lucky for me, my fabulous guests, didn’t let it dampen their spirits (see what I did there).

I wore a dress by Kookai, jewellery by Swarovski and some amazing T-strap sandals which you can purchase here!

We had our own dedicated Mixologist, Luke, who showed us how to create the unique flavours of each of the cocktails.  You can find all the recipes for the Cointreau Fizz cocktails here, trust me you’re gonna wanna try them this festive season! The favourite on the day was definitely the Strawberry / Mint, mine didn’t quite look like the pic below, but it tasted amaze!!
